I do not currently accept insurance. If requested, I can provide you with an itemized bill that you can use to file an out-of-network claim with your provider.
Phone / Video Consultation
FREE - 15 minutes
I offer free phone or video consultations, up to 15 minutes, for me to have an opportunity to get a sense of your needs and make sure that I can meet them, as well as for you to have a chance to ask questions you might have about therapy in general, or my policies or approach specifically.
$110 - 90 minutes
During the intake appointment, I will review the documentation you have signed prior to coming to therapy, spend some time getting to know you and giving you an opportunity to get to know me, and then getting some more detailed information about the concerns bringing you to therapy. We will also work on establishing goals for therapy and begin formulating a treatment plan.
I also want you to use this time to decide if you feel like I am a good fit for your needs; I will be more than happy to offer you a referral or provide you with resources.
$85 - 50 minutes
During our individual sessions, we will focus on accomplishing your therapy goals or addressing other pressing concerns. I want this time to be most useful to you, and so you will have an opportunity to determine the direction of the session and we will work at your own pace.
Relational and Family Therapy
$95 - 50 minutes
When working with more than one person in the room, my client is the "relationship" or the "family." Most of our sessions will be conducted with everyone present, but during our first couple of weeks, I will meet with each person individually either for a portion of the appointment or for an entire session to gather additional history or information.
I really need help, but I can’t afford your fees! What do I do?
Therapy is an investment in yourself, your relationship, and/or your family. It is an investement in your future. That said, I do understand that, financially, therapy may seem out of reach for many who really need it. As such, I have a couple options that may be available to you.
If you are currently a college student, I offer a discounted rate to students who cannot afford my full fee. I’ve been there, and I’ve worked with a lot of college students, so I understand the financial difficulties that come with attending a university.
I maintain a limited number of weekly slots for clients who pay a discounted rate based on financial need. At this time, I only accept clients for these slots through OpenPathCollective. Once you sign-up and provide me with proof of your lifetime membership, we can work on setting a fee that works for you. OpenPathCollective has specific ranges for individual and relational therapy, and I allow my clients to determine what fee works best for them within that range. My request, however, is that if your financial situation changes and you are able to afford my full fee, please let me know so that I can move you into my regular slot and open your need-based slot to someone else!
Finally, there are often lower-cost options available in many locations. I would be happy to provide you with a referral if you are located in Lubbock, or I can help you search out a more affordable resource in your area if you are located elsewhere in Texas.
